Where theory and practice come together for an intensive exchange

Top-level Chinese and international speakers guarantee an accompanying program at the highest technical level: Industry meets investors, application meets research, science meets decision-makers from the politics - this is where Chinese and international markets, innovations and opinion leaders come together. It is an recognized meeting spot for an intensive exchange of information on the current status of environmental technology and the dissemination of know-how.

The lectures and workshops are embedded within the trade fair and are taking place over the entire show period.

All speeches will be translated simultaneously into English and Chinese. The attendance is free of charge for participants of IFAT CHINA 2008.


Technical-Scientific Conference

Chinese and international experts from the environmental technology sector focus in their lectures and workshops on the central topics of water supply, waste water, solid waste, renewable energy and air. The conference has a practical focus which fits in well with the interests of the visitors and exhibitors at IFAT CHINA 2008.

This conference program is organized by the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA) and the China Association of Resources Comprehensive Utilization (CARCU).


Specials on Regional and Technical Aspects

• Environment Special
  Experts and government agencies highlight the environmental protection programs of the Bavarian government and its partners. The Environment Special is held under the patronage of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment, Public Health and Consumer Protection, Germany.
  

• Asia Special
  This Special is devoted to the environmental markets in Asia. Its aim is to promote the exchange of information on the current status of environmental technology and to highlight prospects for the exchange of know-how between the People’s Republic of China, Japan, Republic of Korea and Vietnam.
  

These specials are the perfect forum to establish and foster business ties for the transfer of know-how and for an international exchange of knowledge and experience among scientists and business representatives from around the world. Experts will discuss specific projects from various points of view, i.e. technical aspects, political issues, business concerns and others.


Exhibitor Presentations

International and Chinese companies present their solutions, products and services within the scope of their exhibits at IFAT CHINA. The concise exhibitor presentations are attended by a large, interested trade audience – the perfect meeting place to establish new contacts and convince potential business partners.

Registered exhibitors can meet potential business partners and customers in a targeted manner. These arranged meetings with bilateral flavor offer the opportunity to meet companies in the fields of environmental and innovative technology.

This B2B Matchmaking event is organized by the International Technology Cooperation Network of the AiF – German Federation of Industrial Cooperative Research Association in cooperation with the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce.
