13_if_content_image_bigThe dates for IFAT CHINA 2010 have now been fixed: the 4th International Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse, Recycling and Natural Energy Sources takes place from 4 to 6 May 2010 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China. IFAT CHINA was originally scheduled to take place in July 2010, but it has now been possible to move it forward to May.

"In the interests of our exhibitors and at the request of industry, we have been working hard in recent months to get an earlier date in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. A special bonus for our exhibitors and visitors is the fact that IFAT CHINA overlaps with the start of EXPO 2010, which opens on 1 May. As an event focusing on environmental solutions, IFAT CHINA is very much in tune with the motto of the World Exposition 2010, which is 'Better City, Better Life'," explained Egetenmeir, a member of the Management Board of Messe München.

IFAT CHINA is one of the most important and comprehensive trade fairs showcasing practical solutions in the areas of water supply, sewage treatment, waste disposal, recycling, air pollution control, environmental technology and more environmentally compatible energy sources in Asia. The event provides a business and networking platform for industry professionals from China and around the globe. It is accompanied by a high-calibre technical and scientific conference program. IFAT CHINA set a new record in 2008, attracting 362 exhibitors from 25 countries and over 10,500 visitors from 72 countries.

“I have participated in IFAT CHINA several times. This is my third presence at IFAT CHINA and I attended IFAT Germany six times. IFAT CHINA is a very international exhibition. The trade show enjoys strong internationality and visitor participation. In 2008 we had more visitors than during the previous two shows and we were frankly out of breath talking to all visitors. China is keen on environmental industry and a lot of experts talked with us.”
