The
launch of IFAT CHINA in Shanghai in 2004 has turned the world's largest
environmental trade fair, IFAT, into a global player.
IFAT Munich
is the world's leading trade fair for environmental solutions. Ever
since its start in 1966, the number of exhibitors and the amount of
floor space has been increasing constantly. At IFAT 2005 over 2,200
exhibitors from 36 countries (more than ever before in the 40-year
history of the fair) presented innovative technologies for water
procurement, sewage and waste disposal. The show attracted 109,000
trade visitors from 166 countries at an exhibition area of 170,000
m².
The 3rd edition of IFAT CHINA will continue the success of the event
in 2006 and will focus even more strongly on the search for global
environmental solutions.
In 2008, IFAT CHINA and analytica China
are taking place at the same time and venue. analytica China is one of
China's leading international exhibitions for laboratory technology,
analysis, quality control, biotechnology and life sciences. Exhibitors
will extensively profit from this co-location through an enhanced
exchange of know-how especially in the areas of instrumental analysis,
laboratory technology and biotechnology, which form the basis for the
treatment of water and sewage and the control of refuse and air
extraction.
