IFAT CHINA, which this year takes place from 23 to 25 September 2008
at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, is again featuring an
extensive, top-quality accompanying program. In addition to technical
and scientific conferences, there will be theme specials, exhibitor
presentations and B2B matchmaking for exhibitors.A highlight in the accompanying program are the technical and
scientific conferences, focusing on the subjects of water supply,
sewage, solid waste, air and renewable energy. The organizers are the
German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA) and the China
Association of Resources Comprehensive Utilization (CARCU).
In the Environment Special, which is being organized in cooperation
with the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment, Public Health and
Consumer Protection, experts and government authorities will be
presenting the environmental initiatives and technology of the Bavarian
Ministry and its partners.
The Asia Special provides visitors with background information and
facts on the Asian environmental market and a perspective on possible
cooperations between China, Japan, South Korea and Vietnam on
environmental issues and problems. This special is being organized in
cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for the Environment,
Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
In addition there will again be exhibitor presentations at which the
exhibitors at IFAT CHINA 2008 have the opportunity of showcasing their
latest solutions, products and services to the trade visitors.
Exhibitors can also make use of the B2B matchmaking initiative, to
arrange meetings with potential business partners. This event is being
organized by the International Technology Cooperation Network of the
AiF – German Federation of Industrial Cooperative Research
Association – in cooperation with the Delegation of German
Industry and Commerce.
The accompanying program at IFAT CHINA 2008 is thus again serving key
players and trade visitors as an ideal platform for exchange of
information, innovations and new solutions for the environmental
sector.
The lecture and discussion program is set to include high-ranking
national and international speakers. The events are integrated into the
heart of the fair, and simultaneous interpretation will be offered in
English and Chinese. Entry to the events in the program is free to
participants of IFAT CHINA 2008.
