Already, two months before IFAT CHINA 2008 opens its doors, there has
been a considerable increase in the number of exhibitors taking part. The event
takes place from 23 to 25 September 2008 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre
(SNIEC). So far a total of 274 companies from 20
countries have registered to take part in the 3rd International Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse, Recycling and
Natural Energy Sources. That is over 60 more than at the same point ahead of
the last IFAT CHINA
in 2006. Five countries – Germany,
Great Britain, Korea, Switzerland
and Austria
– will each have their own joint pavilion.
The trend in exhibitor numbers in the section on
biogas is very positive. Overall 13 companies – five of them from Germany – are presenting their biogas products
and services this year in Shanghai,
on 255 square meters of exhibition space.
Being
held in parallel with IFAT CHINA 2008 in Halls E4 and E5 at the Shanghai New
International Expo Centre is the fourth analytica China, International Trade
Fair for Analysis, Biotechnology, Diagnostics, Laboratory Technology and
Services.
Exhibitors
and visitors to both fairs will benefit from this tandem arrangement and the opportunity
it presents for knowledge transfer, particularly in the areas of instrumental
analysis, laboratory technology and biotechnology, which are also key pillars
in water and waste water treatment.
